Using the AI features

Updated August 15, 2026

What it is for

The AI is aimed at the work that surrounds your book rather than the prose itself. It reads your chapters and builds your story bible, checks continuity, answers questions about your own text, and drafts reference entries.

Grounded in your canon

Before generating anything for a book, it loads the entries you have already written and treats them as fact. It is instructed not to contradict them, and a second pass re-reads its own draft against your canon to catch anything that slipped.

This is why a generated character tends to fit your world rather than reading like a generic fantasy template. It has seen the rest of the cast.

What it will not do

  • It does not edit your manuscript on its own. Nothing is written into a chapter unless you put it there.
  • It does not invent canon that contradicts your entries.
  • It is not required. The bible, the tree, the timeline, and the map all work if you build them by hand.

Ownership

You own what you write and what you generate here. Exporting is always available, in EPUB, PDF, and DOCX.
